Safety Tips

  • Avoid rocky hills and areas with trees, fences and light poles

  • Always go down the hill feet first

  • Always wear a helmet

  • Keep arms and legs within the sled at all times

  • Avoid icy hills

  • Avoid main roads and busy streets

  • Use 1 sled to 1 person only (sharing a sled can lead to injury)

  • Sled with gear that is approved for sledding

  • Always use common sense with safety as your first priority
